ConnectorProfileXhedge

ConnectorProfileXhedge maps eligible B-book execution to a target symbol on a configured execution account. A/B allocation is configured separately in ConnectorAccount settings. A profile selects symbol mappings; it does not provide automatic hedge-ratio, contract-value or currency conversion. Assign the profile to a ConnectorAccount and define its mappings in ConnectorProfileXhedgeSetting. ConnectorProfileXhedge has the following attributes and can be accessed via the pending config or real-time config
| attributes | required | default settings | attribute type | description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| id | Y | – | INT | The ID of the profile, referenced by ConnectorAccount profile_xhedge. |
| name | Y | – | STRING | The name of the profile. |
| description | N | n/a | STRING | Free text |
ConnectorProfileXhedgeSetting

ConnectorProfileXhedgeSetting defines all cross hedge settings per symbol. ConnectorProfileXhedgeSetting has the following attributes:
| attributes | required | default settings | attribute type | description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| profile | Y | – | INT | The ID of the xHedge profile (shown by name in the Portal). |
| symbol | Y | – | VARCHAR | The source Symbol in which the cross hedge setting will originate. |
| target | Y | – | VARCHAR | An existing target Symbol, or n/a to disable this mapping. The execution ConnectorAccount must have usable settings for the target symbol. |
Prerequisites and outcomes
Assign an existing xHedge profile and configure the global execution account in system.xhedge. The global account is required at startup even when an account-specific execution override is intended. The target ConnectorAccount must contain the target symbol settings; the global execution account uses b_book=0. To execute the hedges of one source account on a different execution account, add a parameter named xhedge_<anything> to the source Connector’s trading configuration (config 1) with the value <source account>|<target connector>|<target account>; it takes precedence over system.xhedge for that source account.
Use economically compatible symbols and target sizing. xHedge does not automatically convert between lot sizes, contract values, currencies or notional hedge ratios. A spot-to-futures mapping therefore requires a separately verified configuration.
Original-symbol B-book accounting remains, alongside the activity booked through the hedge execution account. The hedge is executed like any other order of the execution account, within the time remaining on the original order: when a maker fills only part of it, the remainder is requested again while that time lasts. Each hedge fill is booked as a separate fill of the original order; if the hedge ends partially filled, the B-book part of the original stays partially filled. A failed hedge does not create a fill. Original markup, rounding and TradeLock settings still affect the taker price. The hedge is sent in the same direction as the original order and can use the same symbol as the original as long as the execution account differs. The target’s execution price movement is reflected one-for-one, in absolute price units, in the original symbol’s execution price before markups and TradeLock.
Confirm the supported change procedure before changing execution accounts or mappings on an active configuration. An edit does not automatically retarget an already-admitted order.
