Execution Rules

MT5 Gateway execution rules define how orders in each category are sent to XCore. Configure execution settings independently for MKT, LIMIT, STOP, and STOPOUT.

Category:XCore_order_type,ttl|dev=value,lock=value
MT5 order types Category XCore order types Default execution settings
Open or close buy/sell market orders MKT market, limit MKT:market,300|dev=-1,lock=0
Buy/sell limit entries and take-profit exits LIMIT market, limit LIMIT:limit,300|dev=0,lock=0

Position closures caused by margin stop-out STOPOUT market, limit STOPOUT:market,300|dev=-1,lock=0
Parameter Description
TTL Order time to live, in milliseconds.
DEV Accepted values: -1 or a value greater than or equal to 0.

dev=-1 — accepts orders with any slippage.
dev=0 — accepts only orders with no slippage.
dev>0 — accepts execution prices only within the range [price - dev; price + dev], with the deviation expressed in points.

For more details, refer to the NewOrderSingle message in the Taker_FIX44_Specification.
LOCK Accepted values: -1 or a value greater than or equal to 0.

Defines the symmetric slippage, in points, that the broker agrees to absorb. With lock=-1 (unlimited), the client is always filled at the requested price.
