User Data Access

The User Data Access layout contains component required to configure a specific Data Access that a user will have on the XTrader to view in the Account, Exposure, Positions, Pending Orders components, or on the Account module components to the specific XCore Margin/Risk Account, or all together combined (XTrader, XCore Account). In other words the Data Access section works as a filtration mechanism for the data you wish to provide to specific user.

Data Access is required only for:

  • XTrader Module
  • Account Module

Note: Please note that assigning data access to XTrader or the Account module requires that the user belong to an Access Group which has access to relevant components.

Data Access

The Data Access component is used in order to configure the data for individual users on the XCore accordingly with Component User Group they have been assigned in case it’s required.

Left Panel Description
Apply Used to apply the settings to the system that were modified in the access field.
Reset Reset/Drops the settings that were configured but not yet applied to the system in case a mistake was done during configuration or just changed the mind.
Top Panel Description
Add Open window pop up in order to add new line defining the instance, user, category, type, group and item that the specific user will have data access for.
Delete Deletes fully the line of data access configuration from the XCore.
Column Description
Status Indicates whether a line has been modified which would require to save a row to apply the change.
User The email of the user.
Type The type which you wish to define data access for the user:

Trade: Used to define data access on the XTrader Module as on which connector the user will have data access to trade, also used to define the XCore account that is linked to XTrader connector to show data on specific components of the XTrader Module, such as Account, Account History, Position, Position Chart, Exposure, Exposure Chart, Pending Orders components.
Stream: Used to define data access on the XTrader Module as on which connector the user will have data access to view prices.
* Data: Used to define data access on the Account Module as to which XCore account will be visible to the XCore user.
By In the by column specified with the type which was selected previously:

Connector
Connector Account
Connector Account Group
Account

* Connector Group
Values The individual items of connectors, connector accounts, providers, XCore accounts that can be selected when need to provide data access only to specific item and not the whole group of items.
Instance The XCore Portal name of the company that owns the XCore.

Data Access Config

The data access config component is combination of different fields:

  • Account Group
  • Account
  • Connector Group
  • Connector
  • Connector Account Group
  • Connector Account
  • Provider Group
  • Provider

related to data access configuration grouped together, with the purpose of making easier the data access configuration. Through this table the admin of the XCore can manage the data access that can be assigned for each and individual user accordingly to Component User Group that the user belongs to.

Account Group

Using the account group field the admin user can create different groups providing a name and a description to which they can link later multiple XCore Accounts from the Account field of the Data Access Config. The grouping of the accounts for the data access is to be used for the Account module components, where the user will be able to view Margin & Risk Account as well to perform operation actions on them if they are provided through Component Access.

Add Open pop up window to create new account group, providing a name and a description.
Delete Delete fully selected account group from the system.
Column Description
Status Indication in case a row has been modified and requires to proceed to Save in order to apply in the system.
Name The name of account group that is used to provide data access to specific user.
Description Meaningful description of the Account Group to easily understand what is assigned to it.

Note: The fields can be updated directly from the table by clicking on the requested cell that you wish to change configuration ,which would require pressing Apply button for the change to become active in the system.

Account

The account field of the Data Access Config component allows the admin user to link available XCore accounts to an account group that has been created previously. Besides assigning them to a specific Account Group, the account can be used individually to give data access only for a specific XCore account it’s needed.

Left Pane Description

Reset Reset/Drop the settings configured but not yet applied to the system in case a mistake was done during configuration.
Top Panel Description
Add Open a pop up window to link an account with an account group.
Delete Delete fully selected account link configuration from the system.
Column Description
Status Indication in case a row has been modified and requires to proceed to Save in order to apply in the system.
Account The name of XCore account.
Group The name of the Account Group to which XCore account is linked to.
Instance The XCore Portal name of the company that owns the XCore.

Connector Account Group

Using the connector account group field the user can create different groups providing a name and a description to which they can link later multiple connector accounts from the Connector Account field of the Data Access Config component.

Name The name of Connector Account Group.
Description Provide a meaningful description in order to easily identify the connector that will be contained in the connector group.

Connector Account

The connector account field allows the admin user to link a specific connector account(s) with the connector account group where they will belong to.

Column Description
Status Indication in case a row has been modified and requires to proceed to Save in order to apply in the system.
Connector Account The name of the connector account that is linked to a specific connector account group.
Group The name of the connector account group that is linked with specific connector accounts.
Instance The XCore Portal name of the company that owns the XCore.

Provider Group

Using the provider group field the admin user can create different groups providing a name and a description to which they can link later multiple providers from the Provider field of the Data Access Config component to which the specific provider group will have data access. The grouping of the providers for the data access is to be used only for the Reporting on the XCore Providers type when need to provide data access to generate reports on the orders that were executed with providers that are linked in Provider Group.

Add Open pop up window to create a provider group, providing a name and description.

Column Description
Status Indication in case a row has been modified and requires to proceed to Save in order to apply in the system.
Name The name of Provider Group.
Description Provide a meaningful description in order to easily identify the providers that will be contained in the provider group.

Provider

The provider field allows to the admin user of the XCore to link specific providers with a created provider group if needed. The provider groups are used in the Data Access component in order to define the data access for a user that will have on Reports to generate reports for the providers specified in the provider group.
