Special Gateway Rules

MT5 Gateway Parameters

Attribute Required Attribute Type Description
XCore:Order ID Optional BOOLEAN Controls whether the MT5 trading platform displays the XCore OrderID within the ID column of the client terminal. Specifying Y enables this feature, whereas N disables it.

Note: The special gateway rule ExtOrdID, is designed to be used in order to hide the XCore OrderID from showing in the MT5 Client Terminal. By default, the XCore OrderID will be shown in the MT5 Terminal, therefore once the special gateway rule is configured (XCore:Order ID as in the example below) the ID column on the MT5 Client Terminal will not be populated with the XCore OrderID.
ExecErrorTimeout Optional INT Sets a timeout duration, in seconds (between 60 and 3600), during which trading the same symbol is restricted if the MT5 Server fails to book an XCore-executed order.

For e.g.: ExecErrorTimeout=60-3600 (seconds)

Note: Introduced in the MT5 Gateway v2.0.4.0
DuplicateOrderWindow Optional STRING Sets the duplicate order detection window in milliseconds (1–5000). Rejects duplicate market orders submitted by an Expert Advisor (EA) within this window while the original request is still being processed. Set to absent or omit the parameter to disable duplicate order protection.

For e.g.: DuplicateOrderWindow=2000
To disable: DuplicateOrderWindow=absent

Note: Introduced in the MT5 Gateway v2.3.2.0
SendBufferSize Optional INT Sets the size, in KB, of the network socket send buffer used on the connection between the Gateway and the XCore. Default value = 256. The value can be increased or decreased depending on network conditions and order/traffic volume: larger values may help throughput on high-latency or high-volume connections, while smaller values reduce memory usage.

For e.g.: SendBufferSize=256

Note: Introduced in the MT5 Gateway v2.3.0.0
RecvBufferSize Optional INT Sets the size, in KB, of the network socket receive buffer used on the connection between the Gateway and the XCore. Default value = 256. The value can be increased or decreased depending on network conditions and order/traffic volume: larger values may help throughput on high-latency or high-volume connections, while smaller values reduce memory usage.

For e.g.: RecvBufferSize=256

Note: Introduced in the MT5 Gateway v2.3.0.0
DISABLE_ORDER_ROUNDING Optional When set, this disables the rounding of orders to the configured MT5 step size.
DISABLE_COVERAGE_ROUNDING Optional When set, this disables the rounding of coverage account orders to the configured MT5 step size.
