Corporate Actions-Stock Split
The MT Monitor Stock Split components allow XCore users to easily apply stock split or reverse split operations on specific stocks or CFDs on the MT4 server.
A Stock Split is to increase the number of outstanding stocks by splitting them with a proportional decrease in their value. On the other hand, the Reverse Split is to consolidate the number of shares into fewer and proportionally more valuable shares.
The Stock Split in the MTMonitor is achieved in two separate components:
- Split Open Trades
- Split Rate History
Note: Since the Stock Split components do not affect the incoming price feed, it is recommended to perform the split operations during market close hours before active trading sessions commence.
Corporate Actions – Split Open Trades
The “Split Open Trades” component allows XCore Users to automatically process stock split operations on all open positions on a particular symbol in an MT4 Server.
